Crystal Shoe Rack

Shoe Rack; cool!
Isn't this a beauty?

Changes and old look

Decide to add in some soft finishings. Flowers which costs much more than it looks. Don't ask me how in the world it costs more than $100. I feel so much like a "carrot head". More plants; I seem to be in a "flowery" mood, so I visit the florist more often than I should.
A last look at the place before it gets ready for more changes.
I like this corner but is constantly troubled by the issue of my sofa not fitting in, so only half set of my sofa is there.
and of course, our favourite red sofa.

New directions for our home

We shifted the TV console again. Thank godness I didn't fix the location of the tv console. Otherwise, I would missed all the fun of changing things! There have been many changes to the neighbourhood recently. So thought I better capture a couple before I forget how it used to look like.
Building of the secondary school is underway.A new batch of flats are ready. Will the bus interchange remain so empty in time to come?

Our new lights- after checking out 2 stores in Balestier.

New Pioneer baby

Our new TV, shopped for a long long time before we finally got it. It's not new in the market, but it's freaking expensive to me.

Squeeze Squeeze Squeeze

Having too many quilt covers and quilts can be exteremely irritating which it takes up too much space.
Thankfully there is "Smart bag"

There, a managable package to gold things that are used once in a blue moon. I'm a happy girl!

Gardenia 24 hours

Delighted by the addition of a new bread machine at the lobby area. Hip Hip Hurray, bread 24-7!

Developements in the area

Construction works has commenced. Seems like they are building a secondary school next to the nice field beside our place. What a waste of nice scenery and kite flying place. =(
Works for Regalia and Arcadia has commenced as well. We are anticipating that the area will be very very very dusty.

Lalang season

The humid season is kicking in. It's lovely to see the lalang sway with the wind along the way to work everyday.

Housekeeping

After staying in the house for close to 2 years, we contacted HDB to inform them of the dripping problem. Though the project coordinator informed that they take 1 month to settle the protocal, I was surprised to see them hanging outside my home the next day. You will never expect what they stuff in the walls. yikes!
